Updated the map point to 3555 S. Cole Road. Previously it was linked to North Cole road, which was incorrect. The address displayed above and the map should be correct now. Sorry for any confusion.

  2. Bill McKeeth Says:

I would like to thank all those who attended the funeral and sent condolences to the family in behalf of our mother. Connor Family Funeral Chapel of Nampa, provided very personal services which were appreciated by every member or our family. The sisters of the Relief Society prepared a family meal and provided a gathering point for extended family. Countless others have contributed to the comfort and consolation of family members. Thank you one and all.

We welcome your input to this website, which sole purpose is to honor Lois McKeeth the family matriarch and loving friend to many.

I was asked by serveral people for the words to the song that I wrote for Grandma and sang at the funeral. I know the intention is to eventually have that information here as well as a recording of me singing it.
Until it is available, people who would like to be able to have atleast the lyrics for now can find them here at my website:

  4. LuAnne Moyer Brennan Says:

    Dear Manda,

This web sight has meant to much to me. Lois is my mother,Verna’s, sister. I lost mom when I was 10 years old, she was 48…much too soon. Aunt Lois was the spitting image of mom and they were such good friends. She really reached out to me when I was young, in so many ways. A sweeter soul or finer lady, I’ve never met. I feel so honored to be a part of the Prince/Moyer family. I have been blessed with wonderful role models I can aspire to be like. Both Grandma Annie Prince and Grandma Lula Moyer (hence my name LuAnne) were very strong willed woman who raised their families well and alone long after my grandpas died.

I am grateful to Aunt Lois and Uncle Rollin for bringing me into their home and family in Glenns Ferry several times for extended stays when I was young. It was some of the best times of my life… climbing in the big barn, riding horses, (me trying) ice skating on the pond, 4th of July in town, Uncle Rollin’s sturgeon… My cousins, your dad Bill, Vaughn, Debbie,Vickie and Lynn were merciless teases and still are today. I know that is a character trait that is part of our DNA. It’s all good natured humor that runs through the all the families and I’m grateful for it. It keeps us all humble and quick witted.

Yes, Aunt Lois touched so many of us in such a personal way…she made me believe I was a very special and important person in this world and that I was always loved at times I felt so empty. I always felt better about life in general, even after a 5 minute conversation. What a gift she gave me.
I am a better person for having known her and am proud to have her blood in my veins, her song in my heart and the memory of her smile. She was my connection to my mom and I mourn her loss in a special way even at my age of 54.

Manda, thanks for giving me a place to express these thoughts. I knew we had a connection when you said you clean house under stress…that has always been my outlet…we MUST be related! I’ve been thinking about writing to the family since Aunt Lois’s beautiful funeral, it’s taken weeks. Still I’m sitting here, with runny nose and teary eyes.

You did an amazing job singing your song at the funeral. I so admire those who can express themselves so eloquently during such a time. I would have been a puddle on the floor.

Thank you again for the words to your song and your web sight. I hope to see you this weekend at the family reunion. Love your cousin, LuAnne

Well, I only had a “practice version” of this song, but I went ahead and posted it to my site to hold you all over…

  6. Michele Haynes Horn Says:

I am Michele Haynes Horn, daughter of Karen Hope Prince Haynes and granddaughter of Rawson Prince, brother of Lois McKeeth. My mom always spoke so fondly of her Aunt Lois and her memories of time spent with her and talking to her. She has often said “I just love my Aunt Lois.” What a wonderful way to share just a little glimpse into her life with her posterity, many of us who never had the opportunity to know her firsthand.
